Dr. Bui is a Critical Care/Trauma surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree in 2005 in Chemistry at the University of Texas at Austin and completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2009.

After medical school, Dr. Bui went on to a general surgery residency at UT Southwestern – Austin from 2009 to 2014. He completed a Critical Care fellowship in 2015 and a Trauma Surgery Fellowship in June 2016 at LAC + USC Medical Center.

Dr. Bui is a member of the American College of Surgeons.
