The Department of Surgery has a thriving research program providing UCSF patients access to a broad portfolio of clinical trials. Many of these trials are led by Principal Investigators (PI) in the Department. In others, Department faculty collaborate with investigators in other programs as part of a multidisciplinary team offering the widest choices of treatment to patients.
Trials summaries below include enrollment status and contact information. For an overview of the clinical trial process, see Participating in Clinical Trials.
