Legendary Surgeon Maurice Galante Dies

Maurice Galante, M.D., a legendary master surgeon at UCSF and renaissance man, died on February 5, 2013. His career is memorialized by the Maurice Galante Lecture Program and Maurice Galante Distinguished Professorship.

Biography

Dr. Bedi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Rochester in 2000. He continued his studies at the University of Rochester and completed his medical degree in 2004. Dr. Bedi finished his residency in General Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. In 2013, Dr. Bedi will complete his fellowship training in Abdominal Transplantation at the University of California, San Francisco.
