Biography

Regan Botsford joined UCSF in April 2006 and serves as Director of Development for the Department of Surgery at UCSF. Regan manages all private-sector fund raising in support of the research, teaching and patient care of the Department. Regan is inspired daily by the dedicated faculty and staff of the Department, those who make it a unique and thriving environment, and by the generous individuals who support the Department's multiple missions.

She truly values the opportunity to help individuals realize their philanthropic goals and advance the science. Regan graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Prior to entering the world of fund raising, Regan helped manage the direct mail marketing program at Amazon.com in Seattle, Washington. Before joining UCSF, Regan managed the Centennial Campaign for Cal Performances at University of California, Berkeley, and   worked at the Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter. When not focusing on fund raising, Regan enjoys traveling and photography.
